Kelly Neiderer is an accomplished business professional with 30 years of experience in the dynamic world of banking and finance. A dedicated leader with a commitment to working in a collaborative capacity to achieve goals for the organization while seeking to make a positive impact with her team.
Kelly is a graduate of West Chester University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. During her time at West Chester Kelly was a member of the Economic Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon, as well as the Association of Collegic Entrepreneurs.
Kelly continued her professional development and education by attending the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Intermediate School of Banking at Dickinson College as well as their School of Commercial Lending at Bucknell University.

Over the past 20 years, Kelly has held Senior level roles at financial institutions in Central PA where she has led various teams and performed pivotal roles in advancing banks in the region.
Kelly served as Senior Vice President at Commerce Bank, managing the residential mortgage group, Small Business Administration (SBA) loan department and a team of commercial lenders to meet performance goals and financial objectives while maintaining credit quality and exceptional service. Additionally, she was responsible for spearheading business development efforts for the bank’s outreach to Women & Minority business owners.
At PNC Bank, Kelly worked collaboratively with a team in her role as Vice President, Senior Banking Advisor to deliver a full scope of Wealth Management services for high net worth clients, ensuring the proper structuring of debts and optimal returns for individuals or companies on assets owned by clients.
From January 2013 until her retirement at the end of 2018, Kelly was the Chief Retail Officer and Executive Vice President of Mid Penn Bank, directing efforts of the company to attract and retain retail employees, advance the image of the bank in the various markets, and manage risk associated with banking operations while growing marketing share. In this role, Kelly was also accountable for approximately 40% of the company’s workforce and led retail efforts to transition new employees, maintain customer service standards and integrate 17 branch locations following various bank acquisitions.
Kelly’s leadership has earned her recognition as a business leader by the Central Penn Business Journal, being named a Top Woman of Influence in 2014 as well as a Top 40 Under 40 Professional in 2003.
A dedicated community member and lifelong Cumberland County resident, Kelly has a record of community service as extensive as her financial experience. As a board member of the ARC of Cumberland & Perry Counties, Kelly served in various leadership capacities such as President and most recently Treasurer of the organization. She has been a member of the Cumberland County Affordable Housing Trust Fund Review Board since 2010, Treasure of the MI Foundation since 2016, and a member of the Middlesex Township Zoning Hearing Board since 1992. Prior to these current commitments, Kelly has also served in various leadership capacities for the United Way of Carlisle Board of Directors, Cultural Enrichment Fund, West Shore Chamber of Commerce, Carlisle Chamber of Commerce and YMCA of Carlisle.
Kelly resides in Carlisle, is married to Dr. Philip Neiderer, and has two children, Andrew & Thomas.
The Kreitzer family came to Cumberland County from Berks County in the early 1700’s. The Nicolas Kreitzer homestead is still in existence today in Mechancisburg and the Historic Peace Church is located on land previously farmed by the Kreitzers.
Coming from a long line of farmers, working hard is part of Kelly’s DNA. At the age of 13, she was working for her aunt and uncle that owned the Silver Spring Speedway in Mechanicsburg and delivering the Guide newspaper in Churchtown. Kelly worked in a retail store in Carlisle throughout high school and college, helping to pay for her college education.
Kelly and Philip are both Cumberland Valley High School graduates and met in 1981. Philip has been a dedicated primary care physician in the Carlisle community for over 25 years. They live in Middlesex Township on a small farm that has been in the family since the 1940’s. Their sons are the fourth generation to live in the home that their great grandfather resurrected from an abandoned farmhouse.
During the school year, Kelly can oftentimes be found in the concession stand at St. Patrick School sporting events. Kelly and Philip enjoy traveling and recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to Greece and Turkey.
